A piece of American History
I LOVE calligraphy. I love art and I have a soft spot for Kansas City, since I lived there through my college years. So you know that when this walked through our doors I was tickled to see this!
It's from a banquet dating back to the early 1900's at the American Legion Convention. This was hand drawn and thoughtfully designed. The people that attended the convention included John Emery who was the National Commander/ American Legion, Honorable Arthur Hyde who was the Governor of Missouri at the time, others that were included in this event: the Marshal of France, the General of Italy, Admiral of the Fleet of England and the Lt. General of Belgium.
